PARENT TALK

In conjunction with the one day programme in R.S.S.E., ACCORD (Dublin) are offering a parent talk to be given either before or during the course.

 
The talk will cover:

1. Information on the programme the children will be receiving
2. Some insights on what it's like for the adolescent growing up in today's world
3. Pressures they are under from peers, media, school, family life.
4. Parenting the teenager.
5. Some input on coping skills

The Parent Talk is a very important part of the School Programme.

The purpose of the talk is to support parents in their role, and to facilitate communications in the Parent/Child Relationship
